Little Falls Girl's Soccer Wins on the Road at St. John's Prep

Little Falls Girl’s Soccer played at St. John's Prep tonight at 5pm. The Flyers won 2-1, with both goals coming in the second half.

 

St. John's Prep opened the scoring with a goal by Valeriya Woodard 13 minutes into the game for the only tally of the first half. Nicole Schilling then opened the scoring for the Flyers two minutes into the second half, off of a feed from Rachel Gold. The game winner came from Aria Kapsner with 13 minutes to go in the game off of a pass from Marre Welinski.

 

The Flyers had a total of 9 shots (7 saves for St. John's).

St. John's had 8 shots (7 saves for Jasmine Miller in goal for Little Falls).

The Flyers JV team won 6-1.

 

The Flyers are now 3-1 on the season, and 2-0 in the Granite Ridge Conference.
